Things Which Make The World A Better Place!

Hey guys!

Wassup! Well, I thought of writing this post in the Titwala slow from CST starting at 10:49pm. Had gone out for a dear friend's birthday dinner and an hour in the train till Thane (where I stay) was enough, to think about as many things as I could, to write this one!! :p I haven't arranged the things which are about to follow in any order. They just come as I remember! I would definitely welcome your suggestions as comments cause whatever I'm writing, I do feel many people will agree! :D

• A fast bowler running from 30yards down the wicket like a bullet train with the piece of leather, the batsman calmness personified. The ball is bowled, a stride forward and the ball punched down the ground for the straightest and the most perfect 'Straight Drive' reaching the boundary while taking the bowler off his feet! The batsman enjoying&admiring the shot with zero follow through and the bat still in the same position as if posing for the cameras! Can see this a million times and still not get bored!:) Many may know who I am talking abt but for those who don't, the batsman is Sachin "GOD" Tendulkar! :D "SA-CHIN SA-CHIN.....SA-CHIN SA-CHIN...."
• Hungry or not but a Subway sandwich with all the veggies (except cucumber; extra olives and jalapenos!) decorated with lots of mayo, south west sauce, mustard, mint mayo and chilli sauce can actually make you feel that you have nothing else to look forward to for the next 100hrs! :D
• Admiring the red Mercedes SLS AMG sticking my nose to the glass window of the showroom and feeling as if time has stopped and wish I owned this one when suddenly I heard a "Vrrrrooooooommm!" and there goes a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo behind me!!! For my female friends who don't understand this one its like you'll admiring Jimmy Choos or a Dolce Gabbana dress when suddenly you'll see Hrithik Roshan or Hugh Jackman mobbed 5yards from you!!
• 10pm at night sitting with your best friends at Marine Drive with a full moon and the skyline of Mumbai lit like Diwali lamps with the aroma of Italian food from Pizzeria lingering with the sound of the waves!! Woah! :D the only thing missing was a camera! :p
• Your best friend's pet Labrador greets you with a jump followed by ten zillion licks all over your face with his tail wagging at break-neck pace, his happiness full of innocence accompanied by his tongue tickling you all over your neck......BLISSFUL BLISS!! :D
• Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard hitting sixes outta Wankhede as well as Eden Gardens, Ferozshah Kotla and Chinnaswamy Stadium!! And then blonde maned Lasith Malinga, kissing the ball, running in, slinging his arm across the stump and bowling the most lethal yorker uprooting atleast one stump off the ground with the crowd chanting "MA-LIN-GA"! Follows it up with a huge grin and down-to-earth excitement! Cricket at its best! :)
• Crispy Chicken at Leopold's Cafe followed up with Mission Impossible at 5Spice!! (its a huge chocolate pastry/cake with 2scoops of vanilla ice-cream! 2ppl minimum needed to finish it on an empty stomach!:p) another favourite at 5Spice is Rocky Road which is a chocolate brownie with 2scoops of ice-cream on top; vanilla and chocloate, with chocolate sauce around it and cashewnuts!! :D
• 2hours at Landmark or Crossword, a truckload of books!! Open them and just take in the fragrance of the fresh pages!! The most exciting thing about starting a new book apart from the story is this aroma!! You give me the best of kindle readers (e-book readers) with a gazillion books stored in them...I prefer being old-school here!!;)
• A sleep-over after clubbing at Prive, Colaba... get up in the morning at 5:30 to go home and drive my car (a Chevy Beat) at 120-140kph on the Eastern Express Highway with the cool breeze of early morning, zero traffic, a cyclist/bike/truck here and there and Edward Maya trance! Would do it ten times over!!
• Come home after studying in college, have dinner and than sit for a gaming session! Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2010, Lamborghini Reventon vs Pagani Zonda, last stretch of the track, use nitrous and just nudge ahead to get the Gold! Adrenaline boost!! :D follow it up with a BOT killing spree on Counter-Strike!! Satisfaction guaranteed!!:)
• Sunset seen across the Sahyadri hills from the Mumbai-Pune Expressway!! In the rains, ten waterfalls dot the lush green hills!! Paradise! Eating hot Maggi at Rohtang Pass when the daunting Himalayas lie a few miles from you!! These two places are a must visit for every being on earth!! :)
• Beaches of Goa!! Hell Yeah they make the world a better place!! :D
• Sheldon popping outta the ball pool and saying "Bazinga!" while Leonard hunts for him in Season3 Episode 14 of The Big Bang Theory!! :D have watched it countless times already!! :D:D
• As I think of writing this, I realise that at 1130 at night, there ain't a place to stand comfortably in the First Class compartment of a Thane bound local from CST! And for the first time I'm happy for not getting a place to sit cause it just proved how lively and homely the entire city of Mumbai is!!! :D For a Mumbaiite, whatever said and done, Mumbai makes the world a better place more often than not!!
